Simon Haworth Simon joins the team with a wealth of racing experience. Simon has raced every year since 1991 (20 years) and was originally a member of the Nowra Cycle Club prior to moving to Wagga wagga in 1995. Simon has been fortunate to experience the highs of success at State, Southern Division, Inter-club and Club level. Simon suffers from a rare autoimmune condition that effects the muscular system and for a little while Simon's cycling passion was coming to an end. However, Simon underwent open heart surgery in 1997 to help manage the condition. In 2001 Simon's passion for cycling was again under threat when he was diagnosed with Testicular cancer. Again, he was lucky, the tumour was benign and he walked away from the experience a little lighter. Riders in the Team will benefit greatly from his experiences and his cycling background. |

Rohan Taylor Rohan first started turning the pedals shortly after starting work at Kidsons Cycles as a young fella in 1989 and has since become an icon in the Cycling Community around the Riverina. He is regarded as the best Bike mechanic known to man and has become a corner stone of Kidsons Cycles. Rohan quickly worked his way back to riding off Scratch and finished the first phase of his cycling career with a Silver medal in the 1996 Wagga Cycle Club Championships. The only rider able to challenge Rohan was the two time winner of the Wagga to Albury, (A Grade rider) Aaron Robertson. Rohan returned to Road Racing in 2008 and had instant success by winning the Tour De Riverina. Rohan is a fierce competitor and is dedicated to achieving in whatever endeavour he starts. Jason Condon Jason was consumed for a number of years by a passion for Ducati motorbikes. However, he was struck by the bicycle fairy in 2006 after he used a pushbike to rehabilitate from a knee injury sustained crashing a motorbike. Jason found that all his adrenalin needs could be met by pedal power, he sold the motorbike and swapped leather for Lyrca. In 2007 Jason turned his attention to racing after some encouragement from the local fast men. Jason's passion and commitment to train resulted in a 4th place at the 2008 Haycarter Handicap race (280 riders) and 2nd overall in Tour of Two Rivers, B Grade. Jason is very enthusiastic about bicycle racing and is now spreading the message to other non-racers, so they too might experience the same enjoyment he has. The Team will certainly benefit from Jason's passion, drive to achieve and enthusiasm for cycling.

Tony Aichinger Tony has only recently discovered the joy of bicycle racing and his only regret to date is not starting the sport sooner. Tony has an addiction to anything that goes fast (Cervelo Bikes) and loves the freedom and excitement a bicycle can offer. Tony is an extremely successful business man and his wealth of knowledge will undoubtedly benefit the members on the Team. Tony's never say die attitude will soon see him up with the front runners and on the Podium. |

Daniel Uden (2009 - 2010) Dan is the young fella of the team and he discovered a road bike in 2005 after joining the many who venture out on the annual Wagga Christmas stubby ride. Dan discovered fairly quickly that he was super strong on the bike and initially diverted to triathlon. It was an easy transition having come from a Water Polo back ground and yes, Dan loves to run. Dan the sportsman is also an active snowboarder and avid hiker and loves to head to the Alpine regions of Australia each year. Dan had a crack at road racing in 2008, after some encouragement from the local fast men and rode extremely well. Dan cut the season short in 2008 and ventured overseas to tour through Europe and climbed some of the biggest berg's around France on a borrowed Mountain Bike. He's back in 2009 with a heap of enthusiasm and talent to burn

Bill Robertson (June 2009 to 2011) Billy's the newest team member but by far the most experienced. It might be fair to say the Billy taught Robbie McEwen everything he knows. Billy honed his skills on the track and knows perfectly how to carve his way though a finishing pack to be well positioned for the win, just like Robbie, you don't see him until he's sprinting for the line. Billy's been racing a bike since the age of 12 and spent a bit of time chasing the Olympic dream, at times in tandem with the cycling legend Gary Neiwand . Billy didn't stop competing until recent years, when he discovered he could sing and act. You can take the racer out cycling but you can't take the cycling out of the racer. Billy's recharged the cycling battery and is keen to reach some form that saw him a watched man in most races that he entered. If you can't get rid of Billy before the finish, your in trouble. |
