Congratulations to the 2011 Champions

Brendan Washington (A Grade), Graham Springett (B Grade), Kevin Goodman (C Grade) and Leigh Chalk (D Grade)

The Tour of Two Rivers has taken form after the great success of the Tour De Riverina. The Tour is now in it's 4th year and gathering momentum all the time. The Tour of Two River is  is based on the Scratch race concept instead of the handicap format the Tour De Riverina has adopted.

Again, the focus is on capturing the theme of a Grand Tour.

The Scratch race format will allow riders to open up their bag of race tactics in the quest for overall Tour Glory. The Tour will accommodate riders across 4 grades, which will be of benefit to spectators as they are treated to 4 sprint finishes instead of one. It's going to be an exciting Tour as we get to crown 4 Tour Champions instead of 1.

Climbers can celebrate, with the Scratch format allowing us to crown a King of the Mountains champion in each grade. With that in mind, get into the hills and start training now.

Who is going to be the Champions of the Tour of Two Rivers this year?

Inter-club racing has enjoyed a steady growth since it's beginning with more than 320 riders participating. The Riverina Inter-club racing has been instrumental in developing riders such as Ashley Humbert, David McPartland, Rhys Pollock, Tory Thomas, Richard Moffatt & Emma Mackie who have since gone onto bigger and better things.

We have the Tour De Riverina to get us geed up for the Tour De France and we now have the Tour of Two Rivers to get geed up for another Grand Tour, the Vuelta a Espaņa .

Let the Fun begin!
