The Team is currently made up from a mix of more experienced veteran riders to some less experienced but very enthusiastic racers. The Team has a focus on having fun whilst racing with the intention of nurturing cycling at both a Community participation and Development level.
We are committed to spreading the message of a Healthy Life Style that encompasses a Balanced Diet with Exercise.
Cycling is the fastest growing sport in the world and Team McDonald's Classic believe as a low impact, ecologically friendly sport, the whole family can enjoy, is worth supporting and developing further.
The Team and Sponsors are committed to helping Junior riders transfer from Junior ranks into the Elite/Senior ranks. We often see Young riders distracted by the temptations of life and not continue in the sport and or cycling in general. The team will take an active interest in mentoring U/23 riders with the aim of helping them reach their potential, not only as a cyclist but as an adult. Life is all about  a healthy balance of home life (diet), work, social and exercise. Unfortunately, today's young adults are heavily distracted by their very activity social lives and now more commonly become lost in very unhealthy habits. We instead look to create multi dimensional people, not just bike riders, by placing equal emphasis on exercise, career/education, personal and social development.
2010 will see Team McDonald's Classic compete in numerous races across New South Wales and Victoria. The Tour De Riverina, Tour of Two Rivers, local New South Wales/Victorian State races and of course the June long weekend McDonald's Classic race will be a major focus for the Team.  Use the link on your right to get all the info on one of the best weekends of Racing in Australia.
Team McDonald's Classic are  supporters of Ronald McDonald House and a portion of the Proceeds from the McDonalds Classic weekend of racing go to supporting the day to day operation of the House in Wagga Wagga, You too can support Ronald McDonald House by purchasing a McDonalds Classic Pen from the Team at any one of the races they attend and  or Kidsons Cycles
On occasions you will see some Team Members swap their fantastic Cervelo Road Bikes for some fat tyre, front and rear suspension bikes and  compete in the local Mountain Bike arena as well.
