The Team is currently made up from a mix of more
experienced veteran riders to some less
experienced but very enthusiastic racers. The Team has a focus on having
fun whilst racing
with the intention of nurturing cycling at both a Community
participation and Development level. |
|
We are committed to spreading the message of a Healthy Life Style that
encompasses a Balanced Diet with Exercise. |
|
Cycling is the fastest growing sport in the world and Team McDonald's
Classic believe as a low impact, ecologically friendly sport, the
whole family can enjoy, is worth supporting and developing further. |
|
The Team and Sponsors are committed to helping Junior riders transfer
from Junior ranks into the Elite/Senior ranks. We often see Young riders
distracted by the temptations of life and not continue in the sport and
or cycling in general. The team will take an active interest in mentoring
U/23 riders
with the aim of helping them
reach their potential, not only as a cyclist but
as an adult. Life is all about a healthy balance of home life
(diet), work, social and exercise. Unfortunately, today's young adults
are heavily distracted by their very activity social lives and now more
commonly become lost in very unhealthy habits. We instead look to create
multi dimensional
people, not just bike riders, by placing equal emphasis on
exercise, career/education, personal and social development.
