Tour Weather

Riverina Riders have enjoyed some action packed and exciting racing over the last couple of years, with both 2007 and 2008 editions coming down to a sprint to the line to determine the overall Champion.

The Tour De Riverina format has proved to be a great success with each of the Individual categories  last year being hotly contested.

The focus is on capturing the theme of a Grand Tour and due to the great success of the individual categories, a new category has been launched to recognize the best Scratch rider. It's going to be an exciting year, with the buzz of excitement already reaching a high in anticipation of the 1st stage.

Who is going to be the 2010 Champion?

The Riverina Point Score (TDR) is now going into it's eighth year. The Series was bought about by the five clubs in the Riverina wanting to bring some consistence to handicapping and provide some motivation and recognition for riders that supported the series of races.

The Point Score has enjoyed a steady growth since it's beginning with hundreds of riders participating. The Riverina Point Score has been instrumental in developing riders such as Ashley Humbert, Richard Moffatt, David McPartland, & Emma Mackie who have since gone onto bigger and better things.

The whole cycling community comes to a stand still in July when the greatest sporting event in the world takes place, the Tour De France. So with that in mind and the sport of cycling enjoying a steady growth, the Riverina Point Score has been transformed into the Tour De Riverina.

Let the Fun begin!
