Hope every one had a great break and is now back on the bike getting prepared for the next 6 months of Racing.

The Tour de Riverina website is up to date, so it's time to get those jobs done around the house (get those brownie points up), pin on a number and get ready to race!.

The Wagga Inter-club is in Narrandera on the 10th and 11th of March to coincide with the 'Riverina Rush Sports Festival', visit the web site for the full details.

If the clubs would like accommodation (caravan park & Motel/hotel) forward booking will ensure a bed for the night. I would encourage all to ask around and organise accommodation early.

All of the dates for the 2012 Tour de Riverina have now been finalised, so now is the time to start working off the Christmas pud in preparation for what should be the biggest and best Tour de Riverina yet.

The format of the tour is unchanged since last year, but there have been some changes to some of the events.

· The Geoff Dixon Memorial is now being held in Chiltern. It runs over two laps of the same course as last year’s Rutherglen Classic
· Wagga Wagga Cycling Club is holding their event at Narrandera for the first time. This race is part of the Riverina Rush Multisport Festival, which also includes a criterium on the Saturday afternoon.
· Cootamundra Cycling Club’s event which runs in conjunction with the Stockinbingal Village Fair has been lengthened to bring it in line with the other stages in the Tour de Riverina. This year will be the 30^th running of the Stockinbingal Village Fair so why not bring your family along to attend the fair whilst you are racing?
· The Dean Carter Memorial at Griffith is unchanged from last year
· The Coolamon Classic held by Tolland Cycling Club is unchanged from last year

Once again we shall be running a Teams Category. It’s simple; get together with 3 other mates and the team with the most points by the end of the series is the winner. The Teams Category is a great opportunity to give recognition to riders that have gone to all the races together.
